Steve, the founding member of The Groove Weasels, has been playing in live bands since 1980. His wide range of musical influences include Pop, Rock, R&B, Country, Blue Grass, Funk, and Motown. This helps round out the very diverse style that he brings to the Groove Weasels. Steve has been performing in central Ohio since moving from Waverly to Columbus in 1991 with bands such as Rain, Pecos Attention, The Paul Clark Band, The Mimi Rousseau band, Double Play, Hurricane Jerry & Stormfront, The Mighty Quinn, Little Sister, The Ju Ju Bees, and Unsung Heroes.
A Note from Steve: With a little coaxing from my wife back in 2007, we have formed The Groove Weasels, a very fun and musically diverse band that is without a doubt the most gratifying project I've ever had the pleasure to be involved in! Sarah & myself are very fortunate to be able to share the gift of music together & with others every time we perform. A special thanks goes out to our good friend John Purcell.
